So glad I finally managed to catch up with all your great posts Michelle! Spring feels like the best time to settle into a new home as well - especially since we can put fresh flowers everywhere.
What a beautiful week! I also have shared custody of my dog with my parents and it brings me so much joy to see his little fluffy face light up when he sees me. Congrats on the move; living with a partner is so much fun!
I've definitely found it hard to adjust to the shared setup, but I know it's the best for him. And I get to see his excitement, which is great! Thanks Cha, I feel so lucky!
Oh this is SUCH a lovely list!!! Yes to wagging tails— I’ll bet he was SO happy— I was *just* about to comment on the wardrobe: beautiful and yes to being inadvertently connected to the world and to the seasons— we just are, it’s a fact. I think it’s just the noticing really which, is often hard since our world is so different and busy to what it once was! Thank you for brightening my Friday xxx
It's so funny, I had a really intense and busy week but taking my own advice and taking stock of the small joys has totally lifted my mood! And I completely agree: noticing nature is such a act of almost defiance amidst this busy world life has imposed on us.
Always love these posts! This week I took a day off from supply teaching to meet a friend I haven’t seen in ages and enjoy the sunshine. Have to take advantage of supply perks before I start my permanent job in April ✨

You're too sweet Marlena! Thanks for checking in. Oo you're so right, it's the perfect energy to get things done, don't you think?
Lovely!! Love that wardrobe!! Agree— beautiful, classic and can be a perfect canvas for pops of whatever you choose. Bravo.
Can’t wait to hear about your two good books!
And yessss for the power of reformer Pilates, even this week while sick and unmotivated my classes were a big boost in how I was feeling. 🙏
Thanks Brittany! Already looking forward to the next stage of decorating our guest room.
Ah a fellow Reformer friend! It's wild how restorative and soul-nourishing a class can be, right? There's some sort of magic going on there.
As always, I loved this post! How sweet that you and your family share Milo because he gets the best of both worlds now too
Thanks so much Kylee! He's such a well-loved pooch – three homes (if you include my brother's place!) and as many toys as he likes!
Aww this list made me so happy! Sounds like you are already filling your new place with so much happiness! (and your dog is adorable!)
I'm so glad that it did!
The new place is really coming along. Slowly but surely, it's getting there, but pleased to prioritise time to make memories too.
My weekly dose of joy 🤍
Milo is such a bloody CUTIE!!! I bet he was so happy to see you 🥹
Isn't he the best?! Couldn't cope with his adorable little face getting in the way while we tried to assemble the wardrobe 😂
Makes me so happy always!!! The curated wardrobe is definitely something to be proud of.
Aw thanks so much Izzy!!
